Library Club

 If you are a book lover then this is the club for you. Our Library is the heart of our LRC and houses over 4400 books! Open to all year groups, Library Club is an opportunity for students to really get to know our Library, to celebrate books and reading, and to help promote this across the school. Not only will Library Club members be the first to preview new stock and offer suggestions for future purchases, but they will also help to promote our books, the space and a love of reading, all whilst also learning how to be a student librarian. 

Library Club is very hands on with students creating materials for displays, supporting stock control, helping with book issuing and returns, enjoying lots of ‘book  talk’ when discussing books and sharing favourite reads, generating ideas for displays/promotions and enjoying sharing ownership of our fantastic library.

With so many elements to Library Club, each student can find a way to enjoy the space and the books, and also feel proud of contributing to the Library’s future successes.
