Duke of Edinburgh Award
The Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE) is a youth awards programme founded in the United Kingdom in 1956 by Prince Philip, which recognises adolescents and young adults for completing a series of self-improvement exercises.
Here at Ingleby Manor School, we offer our students the opportunity of working towards the Bronze Level and Silver Level D of E Award.
Students who join the programme will take part in expeditions, volunteer, learn new skills, work as a team, and gain a wealth of experience.
Each year students will be invited to take part. Students who wish to be involved or would like to know more about the award will be provided information on how to apply, what the programme entails, costs and requirements.
