Macbeth Performance and Workshop – Year 10 and 11

We are pleased to inform you that we have arranged for a professional theatre company to visit the school on Friday 7th March to perform Macbeth for our Year 10 and Year 11 students. As Macbeth is a key text in the GCSE English literature syllabus, this is a fantastic opportunity for students to see the play brought to life in a live performance, which will greatly enhance their understanding and appreciation of the text.
Following the performance, students will have the opportunity to take part in an interactive workshop with the actors. This workshop will allow them to explore key themes, characters, and dramatic techniques, reinforcing their classroom learning and helping them to engage more deeply with the play.
To help cover the costs of the production and workshop, we are asking for a voluntary contribution of no more than £10 per student. We understand that financial circumstances may vary, and we greatly appreciate any contribution you are able to make to support this valuable educational experience.
