Creative Writing Club

Are you an aspiring writer? Is there a novel (well at least a short story) inside you bursting to come out? Do you like the idea of creative writing but don’t know where to start? If the answer is ‘Yes!’ then Creative Writing Club is for you. 

Based in the LRC, Creative Writing Club is open to all year groups. All you need to bring along is a love of words and a real desire to explore your creativity. We explore different genres of writing, different ways to uncover and develop our creative ideas, different writers (including virtual meetings with writers) and different purposes for writing. There are lots of exciting events and competitions we plan to write for so you could be a published writer before the year is out! 

Whether you’re a budding poet, a curious would-be journalist or a general fiction aficionado, come along to explore your talents, gain advice and guidance and enjoy being creative with language.
