Religious Education

Religion by its very nature influences the lives of many millions of people. The faith dimension of our curriculum on offer at IMFS will provide for the students in our care a clearer understanding of the beliefs and faith journey that many people experience in their lives.

We will on this journey of understanding develop an awareness of different ideologies and how they can impact on our lives. We will allow students to express their opinions in a mature and informed manner that leads to our students being able to initiate conversation that demonstrates the ability to appreciate different viewpoints. They will explore areas of prejudice, racism and the stereotyping of people.

The aim of religious education at IMFS allows our students to become more aware and more empathetic, ultimately allowing them to take their places in a truly cosmopolitan world.
